Well, I’d given up on that one post per match idea. And now that all four teams are out (notably England being dumped so ignominiously out of the competition and Italy now officially being worse than New Zealand) that frees up a little more time. In the meantime, I’ve been watching Cat Taxi on Viikii, and Shinzanmono, as well as the regulars. More on these later.
Saw it, it's a travesty that having the video replay it, they didn't back down. And then the Fifa says they won't allow replaying? WTF
ReplyDeleteAt least I'm not asking for a 100% transparent match, but if you're handed the evidence like this, why not back down? Japan did great though~
And I really want Spain and Argentina to lose. xD
While the disallowed goal was a joke, so was our defence. Losing 4-2 isn't much better than losing 4-1. England just never got started. Japan, though, were amazing against Denmark, and played well in their other games, too. They surprised a lot of people. USA were strong, and Italy were just a good defence and some mindless thugs in attack. I'm kind of glad they went out. But hey, there's always next time...
ReplyDeleteI was talking more Mexico vs. Argentina, the first goal was a clear off-side. If they hand't allowed that first goal, Mexico wouldn't have lost their concentration with that silly 2nd goal. xD
